Features of MDF

The following aspects should be paid attention to when choosing medium density fiberboard;
1. From the appearance, check whether the thickness and density are uniform, whether the corners are damaged, whether there are delamination, blister, charcolization, etc., and whether there are soft parts.
2. When conditions permit, you can saw a small piece of medium density fiberboard and soak it in water with a water temperature of 20°C for 24 hours to observe its thickness change, and at the same time observe whether there are small bulges on the surface of the board. The thickness changes greatly, and there are small bulges on the surface of the board, indicating that the water resistance of the board surface is poor.
3. Choose medium-density fiberboard with low emission, smell it with your sense of smell when choosing, and choose medium-density fiberboard with small irritating smell, because the greater the smell, the higher the formaldehyde emission and the greater the pollution.
