Particleboard:

MDF:
Medium density fiberboard, also known as fiberboard, is a man-made board made of wood fibers or other plant fibers and other suitable binders. This kind of formaldehyde content is relatively high, but it has great bending resistance and impact strength.
The difference between particleboard and medium density fiberboard:
1. Different uses
MDF is mainly used for laminate flooring, door panels, partition walls, furniture, etc. It is mainly used for surface treatment of oil blending process in home decoration, not suitable for making cabinets. Particleboard can be used for paint and various veneers, and can also be used as cabinets.
2. Different materials
Sawdust is used according to MDF, and the flaky sawdust used in particleboard is specially processed from unqualified branches. They are fundamentally different in material.
3. Different environmental protection factors
Since a large amount of glue is used in the production process of MDF, if the quality of the glue is not enough, the formaldehyde content in MDF may be too high, and the environmental protection factor of particleboard will be higher.
4. Different holding power
Density board is made of wood fiber, which is easy to swell when exposed to water and has poor nail-holding ability, while particleboard has the characteristics of wood and has a certain nail-holding ability, which can be repeated about 10 times under normal circumstances.
5. Different scope of application
MDF is widely used as a substitute for wood processing flowers and carving products because of its uniform and delicate internal structure, while particleboard is widely used because of its resistance to bending deformation, high strength-to-weight ratio, good nail-holding ability and low formaldehyde content.
