The difference between particleboard and density board:
1. Different uses
Density board is mainly used for composite floors, door panels, partition walls, furniture, etc. In home decoration,it is mainly used for surface treatment of mixed oil technology. It can be used as the back panel of the
cabinet, but it is not suitable for the cabinet body. Particleboard can be painted and veneered in various ways, and can also be used to make cabinets.
2. Different environmental factors
Due to the large amount of glue used in the production of density boards, if the quality of the glue is not good enough, it is easy to cause the formaldehyde of the density board to exceed the standard, and the environmental protection factor of the particleboard is much higher.
3. Different nail holding power
Density board is composed of fiber powder, which is easy to swell when exposed to water, and has poor nail-holding properties, while particle board has the characteristics of wood and has a certain nail-holding force, which can be repeated about 10 times under normal circumstances.
4. Different scope of application
Due to its uniform and fine internal structure, MDF is widely used to replace wood processing flower lines and carved products, while particle board is widely used in panel furniture industry because it is not easy to bend and deform, and has a high strength-to-weight ratio. It has good nail holding power and low formaldehyde content.
