1. Low density fiberboard

2. Medium density fiberboard

It is a board made of wood fiber or other plant fiber, added with urea-formaldehyde adhesive, and pressed under high temperature and high pressure. Its density is between 450-880 kg/m3, the fiber particles are moderate, the internal structure is uniform, the strength is high, and the self-weight is moderate, but the nail-holding force is insufficient, which is not conducive to the secondary disassembly and assembly of panel furniture, and urea-formaldehyde glue is easy to volatilize urea And formaldehyde, environmental performance is average.

3. High-density fiberboard

It is a board made of wood fiber, wheat straw plant fiber and glue added under high temperature and high pressure conditions. Its density is about 680-850 kg/m3, the fiber particles are fine, the internal structure is uniform, the strength is high, and the weight is large, but the tensile and bending resistance is poor.

4. Particleboard

It is a thin board made of wood scraps, wood shavings, small-diameter wood branches, and bark as the main raw materials, and then soaked with glue and additives. According to the pressing method, it can be divided into two types: extruded particleboard and flat-pressed particleboard. The raw materials inside this kind of board are uneven in size and poor in strength, but they have high plasticity and relatively cheap prices. Generally, they are not suitable for making larger furniture or furniture with mechanical requirements.

5. Solid wood particle board

It is made by crushing a single wood species into a granular state as the main raw material, adding natural resin glue and pressing it. Its density is lower than that of high-density boards, and its weight is moderate. Because the interior is a single wood particle structure, it has better tensile and bending resistance. It is generally used for high-end panel furniture and has better environmental protection performance.
