Waterproof fiberboard
High Density Fiberboard (English name: High Density Fiberboard, abbreviated as HDF) is a kind of board made of wood fiber or other plant fibers, applied with urea formaldehyde grease or other synthetic resins under the condition of heating and pressure.
The wood-based panel is formed by interweaving lignocellulose fibers and is made of its inherent adhesive properties. Adhesives and/or additives may be applied during manufacturing.
Fiberboard, also known as density board, is a wood-based panel made of wood fiber or other vegetable fibers with urea formaldehyde resin or other applicable adhesives. Adhesives and/or additives may be applied during manufacturing. Fiberboard has the advantages of uniform material, small vertical and horizontal strength difference, and is not easy to crack. It is widely used. The production of 1 cubic meter fiberboard requires about 2.5~3 cubic meters of wood, which can replace 3 cubic meters of sawn wood or 5 cubic meters of logs. The development of fiberboard production is an effective way for the comprehensive utilization of wood resources.
The disadvantage of fiberboard is that there are reticulated lines on the back, resulting in uneven surface areas on both sides of the board, and warping deformation of the board due to the difference of expansion force after moisture absorption; The surface of the hard board is hard, it is difficult to nail, and the water resistance is poor. Although dry fiberboard avoids some disadvantages, its cost is high.
The production of fiberboard in China started in the 1970s, developed in the 1980s, and took off in the 1990s. Since entering the 21st century, the output of fiberboard has increased significantly, breaking through 20 million m3 for the first time in 2005 to 49.54 million m3 in 2011. From the output of provinces and cities, the output of fiberboard in Henan Province reached 6.98 million cubic meters in 2011, an increase of 44.87% over 2010 and 14.09% of the total national output. Guangxi, Jiangsu and Shandong followed closely, accounting for 12.84%, 9.76% and 8.56% of the total output respectively. From January to July 2012, China's fiberboard production reached 29805100.39 square meters, an increase of 11.3% over the same period in 2011.
