The chipboard industry in China has developed rapidly, but there are generally problems of small scale, backward equipment and technology. In addition, many enterprises do not pay attention to product quality and use the dust produced from bark and MDF as raw materials for chipboards. Therefore, the quality of chipboards produced in China is generally poor, and the problem of formaldehyde seriously exceeding the standard is also common.
In this situation, particle board industry must rapidly improve product quality and reduce costs, actively participate in market competition, and the market space for products is still huge. In addition to ensuring the supply of raw materials and improving the quality of products, enterprises should increase scientific and technological innovation, vigorously recycle waste wood, and realize circular economy. Efforts should be made to develop new uses of particleboard, especially the research on oriented particleboard and the publicity of its use. In order to improve the quality of particleboard, reduce costs and improve research and development capacity, the construction scale of the project must be increased, and small particleboard factories must be reorganized to reflect the scale benefits.
