The difference between density board and particle board
Solid wood particle board, also known as particle board, is different from MDF, which uses wood fiber and plant fiber as raw material, but uses log particles (small diameter wood, thinning wood, wood core, board skin, branch wood, etc.) The adhesive is processed by high temperature and high pressure. The principle is the same as density board, which is also a kind of man-made board. Although the flatness of solid wood particle board is not as good as that of density board, and it is more difficult to make radians and shapes, its bearing capacity, nail holding power, environmental protection, moisture resistance, and sound insulation are worse than density board. If you build a wardrobe at home, you can use the two together, use MDF for the back panel, and use solid wood particle board for the laminate to give full play to their respective advantages.
